Whether you're new to faith, exploring Christianity, or searching for a church home, we're truly glad you're here. At Redeemer, it's our joy to worship and serve in the heart of College Stationāa city we love and a community passionate about following the Lord. We would be honored to have you join us for worship on Sundays or take part in any of our ministries throughout the week. Below, you'll find helpful information about what to expect on a Sunday morning so you can feel right at home from the moment you arrive.
NURSERY IS AVAILABLE FOR THOSE UNDER 3 DURING SUNDAY SCHOOL
To those with young children, we would especially like to welcome you! We consider it a privilege to spend time with the next generation of believers (Psalm 78:4, 6-7). To enjoy your time with us, may we suggest the following:Ā
- Relax! We want Redeemer to be a place where children are both seen and heard! So donāt worry if your children wiggle in the chair or make a little noise. This is Godās house and all are welcome, especially the little children!Ā
- Sit toward the front where itās easier for children to see and hear.Ā
- Grab a children's bulletin from the usher table to color and see pictures related to the sermon.Ā
- Quietly explain the different parts of the service so the children understand the various elements.Ā
- Sing the hymns, pray the prayers, and participate in the responses. Children learn how to worship by imitating you.Ā
- Nursery is also available for those 0-3 years old.Ā
- We offer a program called Worship Kids during the sermon portion of our Sunday morning service. This program is specifically designed for children ages 4ā7 and meets in the gym for 20-25 minutes, as a way to come alongside parents in worship training. As always, children of all ages are welcome to remain in the sanctuary for the entirety of the service if the family prefers.
If you have to step outside of the sanctuary during the service, feel free to do so. But please come back. As Jesus said, āLet the little children come to me.ā Letās be sure to welcome the children so that they always know that the church is for them as much as it is for the rest of us! The presence of children is a gift to our church.
